Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.
First-Person Action – Players will assume the role of Ethan Winters and experience every up-close battle and terrifying pursuit through a first-person perspective.
Familiar Faces and New Foes – Chris Redfield has typically been a hero in the Resident Evil series, but his appearance in Resident Evil Village seemingly shrouds him in sinister motives. A host of new adversaries inhabiting the village will relentlessly hunt Ethan and hinder his every move as he attempts to make sense of the new nightmare he finds himself in.
This game was a great experience from start to finish. I really liked how every area felt different, so it never got repetitive. The mix of horror and action was just right, and some moments were incredibly stressful....

I first played RE8 when it was initially released. Although I had enjoyed it, I hadn't fully experienced the game, perhaps expecting something more like RE7 (less open world, more horror). But now I'm glad I replayed...
RE Village is a fantastic journey with breathtaking visuals, terrifying environments, and satisfying combat. It blends classic horror elements with more action, delivering an unforgettable Resident Evil experience.
Good narrative, excellent graphics, but it could use a little more difficulty.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys horror games. Great mix of survival horror and action shooting. Capcom's developers are masters of their craft.

This game was a great experience from start to finish. I really liked how every area felt different, so it never got repetitive. The mix of horror and action was just right, and some moments were incredibly stressful. I enjoyed Ethan's story, and Rose's DLC was a nice addition too. I'd happily play it again.

I first played RE8 when it was initially released. Although I had enjoyed it, I hadn't fully experienced the game, perhaps expecting something more like RE7 (less open world, more horror). But now I'm glad I replayed it to 100%. There is always a pleasant experience in doing multiple playthroughs, where you become more and more efficient, and you feel reconnect to your past selves through shared experiences. The game is absolutely gorgeous too.
