About The Expansion:
Heart of the Swamp is the third World Expansion for The Riftbreaker. Discover the secrets of the Fungal Swamp biome in the brand-new Story Campaign branch. The multi-layered missions will have you investigate the inner workings of the local ecosystem. The knowledge you gain will allow you to adapt your technology and strategy to face the new challenges of this previously undiscovered region. Bring back harmony to this biome, or leave a pile of smoldering ashes. The choice is yours.
Features:
Discover an entirely new branch of the Story Campaign, taking place in the Fungal Swamp biome.
Build bases on both dry land and water, as you adapt your technology to the environmental conditions.
Research the unique species of flora and fauna. Learn how they adapted to living in the extreme conditions of the Fungal Swamp.
Make use of advanced base-building methods to create complex power supply chains for your Outposts.
Increase the stopping power of your base by utilizing the brand-new, massive defensive towers.
Push back against the disease that's upsetting the balance of this delicate ecosystem.
Contents of this Expansion:
The Story portion of this Expansion is integrated with the Main Campaign from the base edition of The Riftbreaker. The new branch and the contents of the expansion will unlock as you progress through the game. If you have previously completed The Riftbreaker Story Campaign, you can continue your adventure where you left off. The additional part of the Story will unlock immediately, giving you the option to explore the new part of the world.

Changing the map size multiple times on one map is obnoxious. That combined with the "Sike! You weren't supposed to build there but had no way of knowing, so we're deleting the map even though you built an outpost and facilities!" gives the strong impression that the game (and by extension, the developer) doesn't respect your time or agency and are just padding things out. Too late to refund now, probably by design.

Another good variety for the maps. Though only turrets that benefit for this map. Why there's no foundation for water? There are foundation for sandy and acid. If you want player to use the new turrets, then make the water foundation works less optimal for ground turrets, like half damage.
