There are many ways to enjoy TEKKEN 8. Become immersed in the longest ongoing storyline in video game history with single-player story mode or fully express yourself with character customization. Create your avatar and take on various arcade challenges or visit the interactive online lobby to face off against players from around the world. And with online battle modes like Ranked Match, you can jump straight into the action.
Want to improve your skills? You can fight against your own or other players' Ghosts that learn a player's fighting style using AI technology. Plus, you can check out battle replays to receive tips and develop new tactics.

Yujiro Hanma from Baki joins TEKKEN 8
Bandai Namco announced a major crossover: Yujiro Hanma, the "strongest creature on Earth" from the Baki manga, will be TEKKEN 8's fourth additional fighter. The character's release is planned for early 2027 — a debut trailer already shows off his signature power.

Plays like Tekken. I like the roster. Mechanics feel fine. Game is AGGRESIVELY monetized. DLC prices are ridiculous, even on sale, can't even test locked characters in practice. Full priced game trying to shill battle passes. This much greed gets the downthumb.

The game is fun (especially with friends) and way better than the last chapter, but 30 bucks for a DLC is insane. I mean, if the entire game costs 40 bucks, how the hell can they charge almost the same price for just 4 3D models with the same movesets from the previous games?

Going back to 7. The monetization and post launch content and balancing in this game is dog water.

Gameplay is great, game is horribly unoptimized. Can go a steady 60FPS on Ultra no problem for one or two matches, then frames will drop to 20-30FPS for seemingly no reason at all with no fix. Would be fine if it was just low frames but the gameplay and physics are directly tied to FPS so it becomes literally unplayable. Not even lowering everything to the lowest brings it out of the frame dip. Minimum specs being GTX 1050 is a total joke lol can't even imagine what that's like.

If I ever get my hands on a Lili player I will strangle the life out of them. Great game.
