I cannot put into words how much I despise this endgame and everyone responsible for this. If you intend on playing this game: don't.

It's as good as the first one. The tutorial is comprised to one stage this time. The shop (only in-game currency!) is a great addition. Maaany cool pop culture references. Familiar buildings mixed with new ones. This is once again a great game. Classic TD for a reasonable price, no loot boxes or micro transactions. Replay value.
