Definitely worth it when it’s on sale. I just really hate the lack of communication regarding future dlc so be prepared to wait a while for them while the devs are radio silent.

Have to say I am disappointed with Roger and James in They came from below. In all, maybe 2 hours of game time if you are lucky. Great story line although it ends just as it begins... pretty crumby way to tell a story...
Highly recommend. If the original game was like the DLC it would've been awesome. All 3 DLCs offer a completely different type of game play with a different character and it didn't see daunting or bore me.

Have to say I am disappointed with Roger and James in They came from below. In all, maybe 2 hours of game time if you are lucky. Great story line although it ends just as it begins... pretty crumby way to tell a story and not make it go full circle. Doesn't really feel like an average play style of We Happy Few either, just one long mission that abruptly ends. No side quests, no time for free exploration of the over-run Wellington wells. Overall seems like it was a very rushed dlc.

If you're left sour by Act 1 of the main game, then do give this a go. Each DLC changed the gameplay over a few short hours, refining it to what it should have been. Crafting is gone. The inventories are simplified. The stories are better. The characters more interesting. The skill points (or equivalent) rain from the sky, powering you up very quickly to keep having fun. All so much better than the base game.
