This 11-man dev team produced the definitive melee combat game. Their launch didn't go super well, with a few critical systems crumbling under the stress of this game's success... But they fixed nearly all game-breaking bugs in under a week. They've already rolled out massive improvements to stability and server performance. Again, this is an 11-man dev team, not a AAA studio. Earnestly impressed.

I was glad to support the developers of such a game. «Chivalry: Medieval Warfare» and «Mount & Blade» stand out. I've been looking for a medieval hack and slash for a long time. The music is epic and matchless. Especially the percussion sections. I still listen it to this day.
