The best iteration of the job system honestly. The story is lighthearted compared to the entries it ends up between (IV and VI) but it is absolutely delightful.
It's just good. The job system is amazing and provides a huge amount of customization for your characters. My favorite of the pixel remasters so far.

The most fun gameplay wise of the pixel era games, 6 may have the better story but 5 has the best gameplay it's not even close

This version is a great way to experience the pixel era of the series. Final Fantasy V has a colorful cast, an easy-to-follow story, and doesn't take itself too seriously, making it a fun and charming adventure that's often overlooked. Wished they picked the GPA version for more extra content though

It's just good. The job system is amazing and provides a huge amount of customization for your characters. My favorite of the pixel remasters so far.
