I can't speak for Resync, but old school AC IV is perhaps one of the best AC games in the franchise.
Ubisoft broke this version a year ago (online only, but the servers are down so you can't progress without mods that can get you banned)... I called it then... They'll make a remake and they'll keep crippling older ga...
better then the remake. at least i don't have pop up ads when i open a menu. at least i don't have 85 dollars of dlc that i get told to buy when i play the game. at least there's no way to buy easier progression in t...
Requires an internet connection to start, the launching of Ubisoft's own launcher, and your password every single time. Just to waste your time, storage and sanity. You can suck my balls, Ubisoft.
Game is locked at 60 FPS. Screen shutter happens NON STOP. They force you to login in some Ubisoft launcher even to play Single Player. Not worth more than 5e, needless to mention that 40e for a 13 yo game that had 0 ...

If I ever decide to reinstall, it will be this version of the game. Let's face facts--Ubisoft lost a combined total of $500-600 million on their last two (assassin genre) games (Skull and Bones & Assassin's Creed Shadows). If ever there was a time to recoup their losses, remastering one of their most popular games was probably one of the best financial decisions Ubisoft has made in the past 10 years. I won't be conned into buying the remaster, let alone at full price.

Ubisoft broke this version a year ago (online only, but the servers are down so you can't progress without mods that can get you banned)... I called it then... They'll make a remake and they'll keep crippling older games to sell them back to you... just like AI slop is stealing all your art and music to sell back to you... You will own nothing.

better then the remake. at least i don't have pop up ads when i open a menu. at least i don't have 85 dollars of dlc that i get told to buy when i play the game. at least there's no way to buy easier progression in the game. at least this version of the game is 40 DOLLARS with all the dlc. ♥♥♥♥ you ubisoft eat sand

Game is locked at 60 FPS. Screen shutter happens NON STOP. They force you to login in some Ubisoft launcher even to play Single Player. Not worth more than 5e, needless to mention that 40e for a 13 yo game that had 0 optimisation for newer PC's is a SCAM.
