Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. 1348. The plague ravages the Kingdom of France. Amicia and her younger brother Hugo are pursued by the Inquisition through villages devastated by the disease. On their way, they will have to join forces with other children, and evade swarms of rats using fire and light. Aided only by the link that binds their fates together, they will face untold horrors in their struggle to survive. As their adventure begins… the time of innocence ends.

It was trully engaging adventure, not without plotholes but still well written story about darkness. Darkness that lurks beneath the surface both litterally and also as a metaphore of society. Achievements are simple and pleasant to complete. If you focus on collecting resources you can do them in one run without problems. Overall the game is original, interesting and immersive. Gameplay is rewarding although pretty easy, as focus is on the plot line.

A Plague Tale is one of the most impressive story-driven games I have ever played. It has breathtaking graphics even for today's standard. It also has emotional story that cuts deep (sampe keluar air mata lelaki), and engaging gameplay that create a truly unforgettable gaming experience for me. Time to play the sequel!
