You are Ranger, a warrior armed with a powerful arsenal of weapons. Still holds up. Beautifully crafted old school FPS. Brilliant gothic/medieval fantasy visuals and atmospheres, with a great soundtrack to bring it together. Fun weapons to use, and levels to navigate. Many FPS games today still don't quite match up to what the mighty QUAKE can offer.

Utterly legend among all classic games i have ever played,trully game isn't about visuality and deep plot, these both typically absent in particular games, but shooting and gameplay are keeping on highest level especially in fighings,that's an incredible upside the Quake game lines have unlike Doom's personally,i don't wanna minimizing significance to Doom fans,when to me Quake in a numerous aspects is more QUICKER.

One of the greatest game to have ever been made. The levels and soundtrack still stands the test of time and the overall environment, especially with the new remastered version, still holds true to the creepy gothic/lovecraftian atmosphere. The monsters are unique and the overall combat still feels fluid and quick.

It's your grandpa's fps at this point but it's still so goood. Twitchy controls, no recoil, quicksave, mods, this is the way of the boom shoot. Play it and experience history man, you won't be disappointed.
