aside from its thrilling gameplay, this game is somewhat masochist compared to other soulslike games i’ve played

Nioh is one of my favorite games ever. I’ve completed it about seven times, mostly on PS, and it never gets boring thanks to its gameplay variety and flexible playstyles. Despite the repeated enemies, the combat mechanics are excellent. The soundtrack is both calming and intense, which fits the game perfectly. The story isn’t very strong — it dives deep into Japanese history and even alters some events. It’s great in co‑op, but I personally finished it solo before playing with a friend.

The controls are extremely klunky to the point where I do not want to get into it. I also do not understand how this can be 70 GB but have such low resolution textures...

The game is good, but I got stuck at the Umi-Bozu boss because I didn't have any of the required items to beat him. Because of that, I deleted the game and definitely don't recommend it don't buy XD

The story is decent, gameplay is fun, very difficult, complex and quite different from most souls slop of this day and age. You can play any Koei tecmo game almost indefinetly, with how much stuff there is even a sloppy open world is small compared to their games, and that is their biggest flaw IMO.
