Master of Magic is a combination of an RPG and a strategy game, a remake of a classic from the 90s.
In Master of Magic you take up the role of one of 14 unique and diverse great wizards who compete with each other to dominate the worlds of Arcanus and Myrror.
Choose from different schools of magic and fantasy races to command, then lead your minions and expand your influence and power across the land.
Recruit and command mighty armies of elves, dragons, dwarves, orcs and many more. Support them with powerful spells. Fight tactical turn-based battles and affect the outcome with your magic.
Research new spells, engage in alchemy, perform rituals and use your arcane powers to change the world around you.
Always beware of the machinations of your rival wizards, who seek to reach your same goals. But in the end, remember: there can be only one Master of Magic.

I played this game years ago, when you had to use a hard disk to install it. Loved it then, loving it now. Much love to the people who brought it back and improved it!
Very true to the old game, but with updated graphics and justified tweaks to gameplay
Bought out of nostalgia. The programmers were clearly lazy, and banking on gen x buying in. The programmers did not give this game the updating attention it deserved. Save your money. Buy something else.
I finally got around to playing this. I see it has had multiple patches. I'm exploring the map (about 115 minutes it reports) - the game crashed on me. Was it the game, my video driver, something else? IDK. I jus...
the origanal game was great, and this remake makes it so much better

Bought out of nostalgia. The programmers were clearly lazy, and banking on gen x buying in. The programmers did not give this game the updating attention it deserved. Save your money. Buy something else.

I finally got around to playing this. I see it has had multiple patches. I'm exploring the map (about 115 minutes it reports) - the game crashed on me. Was it the game, my video driver, something else? IDK. I just know I have played the game Valheim for over 800 hours and never had a single crash. Sigh - had hopes for the game, but life is too short for games that crash.
