Backstory is not the only thing. Do you remember Lumberjack, Beekeeper, Corey and Tress brothers and other silent NPCs? Almost all of them will find a voice and character in this DLC. And this character will be even more crazy than in the original game. In search of mysterious artefacts of antiquity you will learn more about the backstory and relationships of these NPCs. If you convince them to talk.

This dlc is bugged. There is a chance you will get harlocked due to the 6 y.o. bug with the quest items. Your only hope is to find a good save file from someone or just start all the playthrough from the scratch (may be it will help). P.S: Belt Buckle bug. Cutscenes won't trigger, no active diggind spots. There are a lot of stuck people like me on reddit and steam and there is no solutions except provided above. gg.

Do not get any of the game DLCs at a full price. Itself, the DLC gives mostly lore about the side characters, like Gerry or Horadric. Of course, there's a tavern, but you just give it alcoholic beverages and it gives you money, nothing more. Since I love lore, I like this DLC.

This DLC is a great addition to the game. It deepens the lore, adds the tavern, which is a bit grindy, but fun to run, and it helps generate a ton of money, which is a pain in the main game. Do not get any of the game DLCs at a full price. Itself, the DLC gives mostly lore about the side characters, like Gerry or Horadric. Of course, there's a tavern, but you just give it alcoholic beverages and it gives you money, nothing more. Since I love lore, I like this DLC.

The tavern is just as badly conceptualized as the church and the graveyard... the story bits we get are at least somewhat interesting but why is this a DLC and not base game, I tell you why: GREED, the only sin not featured int he DLC... cause that would have been a selfinsert by the creator... All the DLCs are pointless and overpriced... and add little new or worth the price!
