RADICAL DREAMERS - Le Trésor Interdit -
"RADICAL DREAMERS - Le Trésor Interdit -" was released in 1996 as a standalone game, and has not been easily accesible for play in recent years. Players can experience the story that went on to become the basis for CHRONO CROSS in an audio novel format. Here, an alternate story of the RADICAL DREAMERS, a group of three thieves - Serge, Kid and Magil - unfolds in a parallel world.*You can switch between the new and old versions of the 3D models and illustrations.
*The 3D models, illustrations, font and background filter cannot be toggled separately. They will all be switched together.

Grew up playing Chrono Trigger so I figured I'd try this one out. Unfortunately I can't play it more than a few minutes before it freezes ang goes to an all white screen. Have to alt+ctrl+del to force close it. Lose all progress every time. Literally unplayable.

My favorite game of all time. If you can get over the fact it isn't a proper sequel to Trigger it's an amazing game in it's own right and has tons of replayability.

Froze after 22 minutes on my SteamDeck, before I could even save. Apparently this is a known issue. I'm going to play it on an older system.

Probably the best RPG I have ever played via, storyline and battle dynamics. Not to mention Yasunori Mitsuda has the best OST in the world right here.

What can I say? I played it the first time it came out and loved it and bought it on PC when it came out on steam. I see some people have had issues with the game, I have not so I'm basing it on my own play time experience which has been good and for me worth the money. It may not be for everyone, but if you loved the old, Wild Arms, Legend of Dragoons....this is defiantly for you if you haven't played it yet.

So many of the backgrounds are beautiful at full resolution, but they feel cheap and there's lots of signs that they used AI instead of hiring an art team to upscale the game.
