Feels like Far Cry: Blue Edition—but without the fun. The story is flat, the characters barely register, and the dialogue tries way too hard. Movement and combat both feel stiff, with physics that break immersion every few minutes and enemies that soak up damage like sponges. I wanted to stick around long enough to fly a Ikran but would have passed the refund window and before that the game just never became enjoyable. Refunded.

Brilliant game. It really does hold up and I'd highly recommend it if you love Avatar and the world it brings! A truly immersive enjoyable experience that I will admit, is def bogged down by the typical ubi-schlop, but if you can get past the RPG mechanics which admittedly make things meh- Its a REALLY good experience

pros: -beautiful game, surprisingly well optimized compared to other games i have played and considering the graphics (I am playing on mostly low specs though due to playing on a laptop, i am just still surprised i can run the game) -cinematic movement, feels fun to be the character cons: -any upgrade doesn't mean anything cause the game auto-scales the environment -downloads a separate launcher for the game xc -suffers from AAA commentary

Gorgeous game, just stunning, but very resource intensive if you want to see it looks so gorgeous. The developed could have put more work into optimization. Constantly collecting things in the forest and crafting is not a gameplay style i enjoy, but I can see how it would be a necessary part of a game like this so i tolerate it. It definitely has that modern AAA game detail and lighting, just make sure your hardware is adequate for the kind of settings you are going to want.

AFOP is honestly one of the most underrated open world games I've played. Pandora is absolutely beautiful and feels genuinely alive, and exploring it on foot or flying around on your Ikran never gets boring. The combat is fun, especially when you use stealth and the bow, and upgrading your gear makes progression feel rewarding. I just wish the story and characters had a bit more depth, but overall it's an amazing experience for any Avatar fan.
