Update 8 brings another substantial round of improvements across the simulator, with a particular focus on multiplayer stability, performance and memory optimization, Flexible AI, microphone performance, aircraft behavior, and quality-of-life improvements.
You’ll also find some new additions, including the ADIRS Direction Compass, a yellow indicator for aircraft given Line Up and Wait, configurable taxi speeds on roads next to gates, and the option for silent handover to Departure / Control.
A lot of work has gone into this update behind the scenes. A huge thank you to our development and testing teams for getting Update 8 across the finish line, and to our community for continuing to report as requested, give feedback, and help us improve Tower! Simulator 3.
