Minimalistic x Strategic Depth
Roll with Splonk is built around a gameplay loop and systems that are quick to pick up and feel familiar. But beneath that simplicity is real strategic depth: choosing which dice, enchants, and relics to build around, and managing your $ wisely, all take careful thought. Your decisions truly matter!
Here's a sneak peak at some of the enchants that you can find in the game:
Magic: Prior to score calculation, if you hit the lowest number that this die has, change nearby dice's face to their highest face value (including this die).
Alien: When you hit a Stamp on this die, all the Stamps on all dice are multiplied by 4
Randomly generated dice
Every die is randomly generated, so there's always a chance of stumbling onto a real gem. Stack dice that complement each other, craft a few improvements onto them, add relics and upgrades on top, and watch the numbers get completely out of hand.
Why we made Roll with Splonk?
We wanted to make a Desktop Companion that had more complexity and build expression compared to what's out there at the moment in the Desktop Companion genre. We also wanted to explore the mix between Incremental and Desktop Companions! Ohh, and we also think Splonk is pretty cute! :)
Quality of Life
Roll with Splonk is very easy to drag around, and resize to fit your perfect desktop needs on the fly! We also made some very accessible buttons to change the volume, and to put the game "always on top" On/Off.
