Description
The original XCOM is widely regarded as one of the best games ever made and has now been re-imagined by the strategy experts at Firaxis Games. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will expand on that legacy with an entirely new invasion story, enemies and technologies to fight aliens and defend Earth.
You will control the fate of the human race through researching alien technologies, creating and managing a fully operational base, planning combat missions and controlling soldier movement in battle.

Game is great, HOWEVER, turn V-Sync off and turn framerate smoothing off, the game GIGA crashes if you don't leave it on. Final mission is also ass However, the rest of the game is very good so I still recommend :)

this game was good when it came out it was great with Long War its now PERFECTED with Long War Rebalance (still developed today!) MUST PLAY GAME!!!!

This game still holds up, after all these years. Even if your get it only after having played XCOM 2 first, it makes for a great "prequel". Just be sure to start the Enemy Within version when the game asks you to. Most people will be fine playing this expanded version without ever having to start the base game. There is also no achievement locked to the base game. Enjoy!
