The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is the ultimate way to play the award-winning RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division

You’ve tried the rest, now come back for the best! The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition includes the base game and all add-on content as the definitive way to play the beloved RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. This remastered masterpiece is optimized to be the absolute best version of The Outer Worlds… even if you choose to play this critically acclaimed RPG as the absolute worst version of your character.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony. Explore the various planets and locations of Halcyon, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and delightful distilleries of Eridanos. As you encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds.

In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

Key Features:

2019’s hit RPG has been remastered with better graphics, improved performance, additional animations, higher-res environments, and a whole new feature: grenades!

In keeping with the Obsidian tradition, how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices affect not only the way the story develops, they also affect your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.

During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It's up to you to help them achieve their goals, or exploit them to your own ends.

Halcyon is a colony at the edge of the galaxy owned and operated by a corporate board. They control everything... except for the alien monsters left behind when the terraforming of the colony’s two planets didn’t exactly go according to plan. Find your ship, build your crew, and explore the settlements, space stations, and other intriguing locations throughout Halcyon.

I didn't ask for this garbage edition. Giving me an 'updated' version of the base game doesn't improve how bad the game was.

Runs better than the original release. Smooth after the initial, long black load up.

Giving it a thumbs up because I suppose it's ok for those who enjoy this type of thing, but definitely dragged on too long for such a thin plot. Also, far too much pointless dialogue with only the same front-on camera...

Recent updates broke the game completely. Runs great like it used to right up until you use the menu at all... then, bam, 5 FPS. Great work, Obsidian. My purchase has now been made invalid after years of enjoyment for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. Stop patching old games. This one USED TO work, now it's entirely unplayable. Cool. Edit - forgot to mention that the intro cutscene also failed to load when trying to start a new run post-update.

A definitively boring game that tries to be deeply sarcastic, but after a few dialogues and endless reading, it becomes repetitive and tiresome. The gameplay stays exactly the same throughout, and the enemies lack variety, which makes it even more boring. Visually, it's beautiful, but that doesn't make up for how dull and tedious the experience becomes.

This game is a great game. The first time that I played it, didn't like it and wasn't very fun to me. Uninstalled the game, and forgot about it. Two years later started to play the game and actually really enjoyed the game a lot. The combat it good and leveling up and having to choose what to upgrade is fun. Its a good game that I would recommend you play.

Giving it a thumbs up because I suppose it's ok for those who enjoy this type of thing, but definitely dragged on too long for such a thin plot. Also, far too much pointless dialogue with only the same front-on camera angle. There were no cutscenes, animations, or pivotal moments to drive the story, overall the game just felt kind of lazy. Some of the planets and landscapes had a great use of color and visual design, it also ran well which in this day and age certainly counts for something!
