The taming of the Red Planet has begun!
Corporations are competing to transform Mars into a habitable planet by spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise temperature, create a breathable atmosphere, and make oceans of water. As terraforming progresses, more and more people will immigrate from Earth to live on the Red Planet.
In Terraforming Mars, you control a corporation with a certain profile. Play project cards, build up production, place your cities and green areas on the map, and race for milestones and awards!

Lots of variety in the card combinations despite the base game mechanics staying the same.

One of my favorite games, but PLEASE fix the bugs. It's been months of it only sometimes accurately counting the tags I play. And it's so easy for people to karma-farm by simply not playing and forcing you to forfeit....

Fantastic board game turned into a so-so computer game. The interface is clumsy. Even the hardest AI opponents are way too easy, and online is unreliable and buggy. Timer keeps going even when it's not your turn - and...

No longer works under Proton since April 2026. Developers are not responding and do not seem to have any interest in fixing the issue . Cannot recommend buying.

While I like the game when playing with friends on a table, this is clearly a simulacrum. It plays slowly, you can hardly see what is happening (unless you click on all other players to check what changed, very tedious) and it's buggy. In particular, in the draft, if I select a card I can't select (because it is in the list but it was already selected in one of the eariler draft steps) the game closes the selection screen and I can no longer continue the game.

Timer keeps going even when it's not your turn - and when your time is out the game just chucks you back into the menu screen. What a wasted opportunity.

No longer works under Proton since April 2026. Developers are not responding and do not seem to have any interest in fixing the issue . Cannot recommend buying.
