Become the commander of a colossal force, leading your troops into mass fights with up to 32 000 units present on the battlefield at the same time. 20 unique nations, 100 research opportunities, over 220 different historic buildings, and 120 unit types are at your command. Besides the epic battles on land, you are welcome to build the greatest armada the world has seen and dominate your enemies at sea.
CLASSIC GAMEPLAY
Send your peasants down the mines, chop forests for wood, and don’t forget to manage the crops. Keep an eye on your town's prosperity and the field victories simultaneously, as if you are the true eminent hetman! Dive into the Golden Age of the RTS genre and explore infinite tactical options, including buildings construction and resource production, a broad selection of various units, and the landscape influence.

Sadly not playable on modern setups. I don’t know when it happened, but when I wanted to play a round (which I only do very occasionally), launching the game caused a heavy lag — several minutes — and when the game finally started, the screen turned black as soon as I tried to set up a skirmish. I’ve loved this game for many years, but since I can no longer play it and there seems to be no intention to fix these issues, I sadly cannot recommend it anymore.

One of the most underrated strategic games and also one of my favorite. Yes, the community isn't the friendliest, but the game itself is really good. I hope one day it will become popular, cause it deserves it. Highly recommend it for someone who loves this type of strategic games!

The game is literally AOE game with no pop limit. Graphics are ok, but game is fun and enjoyable.
