The main beat em up combat is fun. Good variety of enemies but some parts feels a bit unbalanced. Some of the other game modes needs more balancing too. Love the hand drawn artstyle but the Dark Queen outfit redesign ...

The main beat em up combat is fun. Good variety of enemies but some parts feels a bit unbalanced. Some of the other game modes needs more balancing too. Love the hand drawn artstyle but the Dark Queen outfit redesign doesn't fit her character. Her personality is on point at least. The other characters are well done and are on point. The older Battletoads games are hard but great. Battletoads (2020) is an decent sequel. 7/10
