Description
Play alone, or team up with friends (or strangers!) in up to 6-player co-op. Enjoy hilarious moments as you watch them die from the horrors you encounter, as proximity voice chat carries their screams down the halls.
Encounter dangerous entities from across the Backrooms as you push deeper through each level. Each entity has its own behavior and way of hunting the player. Learn what they react to and how to survive.
Explore photorealistic environments, handcrafted to feel unsettling. Life like visuals and spatialized audio remove all barriers between you and the game. Start in the yellow halls of Level 0 as you descend deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level brings its own environment, mechanics, and threats to survive. Even within the same level, each attempt brings different layouts, item spawns, and entity encounters. No two runs are the same.
Backrooms: Escape Together is a co-op survival horror game featuring lifelike graphics, proximity voice chat, and horrifying entities. You and up to 5 friends must make your way through 11 fully procedurally generated levels using what's available to you to progress deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level is a mini-adventure of its own, hosting unique gameplay, puzzles, lootable items, environments, and entities. Levels will be added constantly throughout Early Access as we grow the game into the best multiplayer experience to date.

New level live + PS5 and Xbox launch June 18
Backrooms: Escape Together added Level 232 "The Infinite Supermarket" — the most detailed level in the game, with a group of new hostile entities. And on June 18 the game launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with full cross-play and all 11 levels from the Steam version.

In-game event for A24's Backrooms film
Triiodide and studio A24 launched the "Blue Tape" event to celebrate the Backrooms film on May 29: behind a wall of blue tape on Level 0 hides a living room with a TV — find a VHS tape and watch an exclusive film clip. The event runs through June 12.

The gameplay is okay. Entities have cool mechanics, but the patting is very mundane. Also, the fact that players have to agree to having all voice comms captured and reviewed by devs is the biggest reason for my thumbs down. Give players privacy and autonomy.

Backrooms: Escape Together is way more fun than it has any right to be, especially with friends in voice chat. The levels nail that weird liminal-space feeling, and the random panic when something starts chasing you never really gets old. Some puzzles are simple and the scares can feel repetitive after a while, but the co-op chaos carries the experience hard. Great budget horror game for a late-night session.

HOLY GRAPHICS, the game is pretty difficult but once you learn what to do the game becomes easier, Do i even need to explain how good the graphics are, They are literally IMMACULATE, There's tons of cool levels, and monsters, 9.7/10

Game was decent but it was very short considering that it came out in 2022. Should be way more maps and content and there are still some bugs. Compared to other backrooms games, this was the worst one I played so far because of the lack of content and glitches.

Holy peak, I thought this was going to be just a cliche backrooms game but this blew my mind. I had too much fun playing this and for 10 dollars it is a total steal. 11/10 would force everyone to buy again
