A fresh update for Backrooms: Escape Together brought three pieces of news at once. The big one is the new Level 232 "The Infinite Supermarket": endless rows of shelves and storerooms, new hostile entities and tons of supplies. It's the game's most detailed level — reach it via a slide at the end of Level FUN.
Studio Triiodide also announced: on June 18, 2026, the game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The console version includes all 11 procedurally generated levels and fully supports cross-platform play with proximity chat — explore the Backrooms with friends on any platform.
Xbox pre-orders are open ($19.99), and the PlayStation Store page is available to wishlist. On top of that, the game launched the "Blue Tape" event in collaboration with A24 to celebrate the Backrooms film.
