STORY:

The story is weird, the monsters are horrific, the ammo is always running out, and half the game feels like a fever dream. It's clunky in places, but the atmosphere is incredible and some of the creature designs still...
very fun and underrated game but i had to play it somewhere else because the steam one has some kind of fps problem
even though this game can feel pretty convoluted at times, i mostly enjoyed it. it has good scary moments, the atmosphere is very well done and the overall gameplay is fun.
I wanted to play this game, but unfortunately I couldn't even get it running properly. Every time I tried to launch it, my laptop became completely unresponsive. I couldn't close the game or even shut down my computer...
I really respect the concept of story, but that potential is completely wasted by a disconnected narrative and poor optimization. Because it lacks immersion, I especially struggled to finish it toward the end.

The story is weird, the monsters are horrific, the ammo is always running out, and half the game feels like a fever dream. It's clunky in places, but the atmosphere is incredible and some of the creature designs still live rent-free in my head. I don't know what was happening half the time, but I was having a great time being terrified.

I wanted to play this game, but unfortunately I couldn't even get it running properly. Every time I tried to launch it, my laptop became completely unresponsive. I couldn't close the game or even shut down my computer normally.

I really respect the concept of story, but that potential is completely wasted by a disconnected narrative and poor optimization. Because it lacks immersion, I especially struggled to finish it toward the end.

Screenshake is too much for me. Also there is bad screentearing even though I have vsync on and the performance is very questionable for this rather old game. Add to that the fact that the steamversion is not the final release of this game and that other storefronts offer more content and you get a pretty bad PC product here on steam. Sucks but what can you do. Time to replay Resi4 and Dead Space again
