Sam, a US marine at the Moscow embassy before the bombs were dropped, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland, and maybe finding his family alive. The prospect seemed impossible in the darkened tunnels of the Metro, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, holding out hope didn’t feel so foolish anymore.
Sam makes his way away from the Aurora in search of a way back to the USA, arriving at the remains of Vladivostok’s tsunami ravaged harbours, ruined industrial buildings, and crumbling residential districts. To complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected.
Players will forge Sam's path through the sandbox survival landscape of Vladivostok, as they take a brand new journey across the wasteland of post-apocalyptic Russia.

The worst boss and enemies design in all the metro games
More mixed than purely negative. Its basically one open world level with just one new enemy type and a very mid story about a character I forgot existed in the base game.
I enjoyed this, it was a bit longer then the last DLC and had a clear story to follow. I think my complaint in general with Metro Exodus is that I don't find the semi-open world sections to be as strong as their linea...

Sam's Story DLC is a really nice addition to Metro Exodus already great game. The story is not incredible, but the area is cool to explore and very detailed. And to be honest, although I say it is not great, if we compare it with the other DLC, I say it is easily the best one. In any case, whether you are looking for just one DLC or looking to buy it all together, more Metro is always more Metro, and I fully support and recommend it.

I enjoyed this, it was a bit longer then the last DLC and had a clear story to follow. I think my complaint in general with Metro Exodus is that I don't find the semi-open world sections to be as strong as their linear single player sections - fortunately they're not TOO big in this game, and they've worked a bit on making the correct paths a bit more obvious. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who played the base game.
