It's good. Install FF13fix and 4GB address patch and DXVK and you're golden. Now about the game it's probably my favorite in terms of story/character growth. Only annoying part is having to grind for item upgrades.

It's good. Install FF13fix and 4GB address patch and DXVK and you're golden. Now about the game it's probably my favorite in terms of story/character growth. Only annoying part is having to grind for item upgrades.

There's lots of QOL hacks like faster running and role changing and modified item drop rates and improved reward for the stars at the end of battle. You can push this game that little bit further with mods. Not quite as far as I'd like, due to crystal tools, but you can have your best playthrough to date on PC.

As someone who only played FFVI, FFVIII, FFIX and FFX I have to admit this was the worst of them all. That might sound like a negative review, but it is not. The former games are just that incredible. FFXIII is also a fun game. The character development and story are great, the newish combat system is pretty fun and interactive. Definitely going for FFXIII-2 and 3. To be fair it also had some weaknesses tho.
