They put a lot of efforts on that game and it so great. but i don't recommend it to all final fantasy classics fans. because it has a unique way of gameplay and story.

It is a lot of fun, a little buggy loading, but if you open it 4 or 5x it will eventually work.
It's one of the best ff, especially the music, it's so rich.

This was the first FF I ever played, and strangely the last I ever beat because FF13 was so bad I never played another. The gambit system is really, really underrated and I wish more party based real time RPGs utilized it.

FFXII is very unique from other FF entries, the gambit system is almost perfect, and Ivalice is a huge world to explore. Trial mode is fun and helpful to get some strong equipments early. From my perspective, the major downside is the plot, Vaan and Penelo are just bystanders, even temporary characters have more depths than them.
