This is maybe halfway to where it needs to be. The story is completely skippable, and the gameplay doesn't make up for the lack of purpose. There aren't enough enemies to stay engaging. Weapons don't feel meaningfully different. The map is littered with collectables that have no meaning. I think you'd need to be pretty desperate for a character action game to have this be the choice.

Very pretty game with a decent story and smooth fast combat as long as you learn to dodge or parry everything the combat is super easy. The story lasts maybe a couple weekends if you're exploring with your brother casually and playing it.

This game is better than it has any right to be. The story is serviceable, the combat is fun (although sometimes frustrating), the movement is fast and the exploration is a good time. I expected to play for a few hours and have close to 40 playing this game. Give it a try, it's a blast.

A gem of an action game, it nails the power fantasy. At the beginning, you are like hmm maby, I should not fight this big wraith wandering in the desert, and by the end, you feel like a desired god and when you see 3 big wraiths wandering, you be line towards them, jump in the middle, and annihilate them. It's a shorter game, yes, around 15 hours depending on how much you die, and do you use walkthroughs for finding stuff instead of searching for them yourself. But it is worth it.
