A Long way down is a mash-up between an RPG and a deck-building game. Embody Sam and try escaping this maze where a sneaky and evil mastermind reigns. Let your memories and your choices guide you... but don't fall into darkness.
The cards you choose will determine how you explore the dungeon and how you defend yourself from the horrors it contains.
Great challenges await you as you go deeper into the dungeon. Use your cards and cunning, adapt your playstyle and overcome all enemies.
You’ll meet many fellow adventurers down in the dark - will you gain allies or make enemies?
Use your cards to bridge gaps and defy dead ends as you travel through the maze. Rush to escape or take time to explore, the choice is yours.
Collect rewards and use them to grow your power to take on what lies in the depths.
Every choice you made will affect the final battle - can you defeat the mastermind in its lair?
Extremely buggy. Crashes a lot. Can't get the cursor to work sometimes. I've played for 8 hours and had to quit in and out again three times now (I think). It looks like only 10% of players can even get past level 3....
Just not it, game is clunky even in the tutorial and doesn't show any evident depth to its mechanics - plus you can fail out of the tutorial because the AI plays your map tiles for you? Awful.
Great game, and fascinating concept. But.... I beat the game in 9 hours, and I wasn't at all trying to go fast. There's just not much content. What there is is great and beautiful, but... I saw this complain in an ea...
I played for 21 hours and probably will play even more. I finished the game in 7 hours and I was so disappointed that it is all for now... So I was messing around with different playstyles for next 14 hours of game ...
I wanted to like this game, but it is very lackluster, grindy, and repetitive. thank the lord its achievements were easy to accomplish so I may never touch this game again. BTW the resurrection Idol needed to complet...

It looks like only 10% of players can even get past level 3. I've been stuck here for about four hours, trying over and over. How long is this game?

Great game, and fascinating concept. But.... I beat the game in 9 hours, and I wasn't at all trying to go fast. There's just not much content. What there is is great and beautiful, but... I saw this complain in an early access in January. Sadly, Ijust assumed that my its launch over 8 months later it would have more content. I would have settled for 20 hours. Nope.

I played for 21 hours and probably will play even more. I finished the game in 7 hours and I was so disappointed that it is all for now... So I was messing around with different playstyles for next 14 hours of game play. I like the art I like the combat system I like the upgrade system I like the dungeon master trolling you. I hope this project will be finished and I will have more fun... I will probably finish the game without upgrades and maybe then I can leave it alone.

Just not it, game is clunky even in the tutorial and doesn't show any evident depth to its mechanics - plus you can fail out of the tutorial because the AI plays your map tiles for you? Awful.

I wanted to like this game, but it is very lackluster, grindy, and repetitive. thank the lord its achievements were easy to accomplish so I may never touch this game again. BTW the resurrection Idol needed to complete the potion achievement is in a chest on chapter 2 level 1.

4 hours in. It's addictive. I like the progression. There are puzzles, which you can ignore if you want, but there are quest rewards for beating them. I like replaying the boards. I like improving my character. I like this game.
