As a thaumaturge, you draw your power from the ability to summon salutors – mystical, folklore-inspired demons that inhabit the ethereal realm. Use their powers to manipulate your foes, sway the minds of allies, and fight opponents in turn-based tactical combat.
Unique turn-based combat
Engage in deep, tactical combat against various opponents – some physical, others more elusive. Wiktor's thaumaturgical abilities let you bend the rules of reality, summoning demons to unleash powerful attacks or gain strategic advantages.
A rich gallery of characters
The early 20th-century Warsaw is a multicultural metropolis with inhabitants from all walks of life. Among them, you’ll meet historical figures like the monk Rasputin or Tsar Nicholas II. The story also introduces you to a gallery of characters connected to Wiktor’s troubled past such as his well-versed sister Ligia or Abaurcy, a childhood friend who turned to a life of crime.

Gameplay got boring fairly quickly. if you're big into the atmosphere, go for it. otherwise, the story, while interesting, is pretty poorly executed and often doesn't logically handle you doing things in different orders. or give you good reasons for why you're doing what you're doing.

I truly don't get many of these negative comments. yes, Thaumaturge isn't perfect but it's a very fun game! Fool's Theory did a massive work creating their own rendition or Warsaw. the story is solid, the fights are fun, the side quests are enjoyable and the characters are interesting to follow. looking forward to more projects from the team!

This is a fantastic AA game. It combines pre WW1 Warsaw and Thaumaturgy into a turn based RPG, which are things that smaller studios are able to do. Unlikely that there would be a AAA developer interested in taking on such niche interests, so I'm glad that Fool's Theory took this on and put out a fun product.

Fun game, nice graphics. System is a little bit of a learning curve to understand the combat and abilities. but otherwise all round enjoyable.

The game has an outdoor bar in heavy snow - real too lazy to build interiors energy here.
