Reverie Knights Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG with strategic battles in isometric grids where every decision you make can alter the story and the way you configure the characters.

Delve into a unique fantasy world featuring deep map and scenario exploration in an epic adventure, stylized as a visual novel and set in the Tormenta RPG setting, drawing inspiration from more than 20 years’ worth of tabletop RPGs, comic books, novels and audiobooks. Embark on an expedition to find Lennórien, the long-lost elven city, to save your loved ones, while fighting the goblin menace that spreads terror across the continent!

This game is unfortunately a very bland and boring tactics rpg. Little to no customization on characters, no ability to hire units. No classes to change to. Combat often seems too difficult considering you either have to use potions to heal up or return to camp after every battle. The story is also less than desirable and I frequently find myself skipping the dialog.

A fun little RPG tactics game. Play on Normal (the hardest difficulty) and commit to completing all optional objectives during every mission for a good challenge. Worth it at $20 or less for fans of the genre. The only gripe I have is that I softlocked during combat several times after using a skill. The cast animation just stopped and the game would never continue on. Fortunately, restarting a battle is quick and not much progress was lost overall.

Started off well. Soon became nigh on impossible and difficult. Could just be me, but seemed ridiculously hard from early on.

I didn't play long enough to write a detailed review. That's because I didn't enjoy any of what I played of it. I love Final Fantasy Tactics and it's spiritual successors, which is why I looked at this in the first place. I'd recommend giving this one a pass.

The game takes time to get excited, but once the player learns all the combat mechanics, the game becomes quite fun but still challenging. The story takes place in the world of Arton, world of the Brazilian tabletop RPG Tormenta. For those who know this world previously, in my case, I believe that the story is quite fun, although nothing innovative. The main negative point is the puzzles which are uninteresting and frustrating.
