The OG modern batman and highly enjoyable game. The combat system built by this game is still highly enjoyed to this day.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was an amazing start to the Arkham series, and I really enjoyed it. The game absolutely deserves its GOTY status. The boss fights were fairly good, and while some of the gameplay mechanics feel a bit stiff by today's standards, that's understandable considering the game's age. The achievements were fun to complete and kept me entertained for many hours. Overall, it was a great and memorable experience. Thanks to Rocksteady for creating this masterpiece.

i enjoyed this game a lot, very nostalgic and combat is super fun :) killer croc was very scary. batman is so cool.

9/10 Excellent tone. The whole island is so carefully crafted, it feels so active and alive, and having to retrace your steps never feels tedious. You're more vulnerable than you are in Arkham city, so the combat feels more slow, deliberate, and methodical. The boss fights were mostly unremarkable, with the exception of Scarecrow and Killer Croc.
