Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.
GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

Thought I'd play for 20 minutes. Ended up spending half the time stopping just to look at the background. The soundtrack is unfairly good, the art direction is ridiculous, and somehow a game with almost no dialogue has more personality than half the games in my library. No pointless grinding, no "live service" nonsense—just a game that knows exactly what it wants to be. 10/10. The only enemy in this game is the urge to keep taking screenshots.

This game is a work of art. The visuals and soundtrack are stunning and I don't remember movement feeling so smooth and fluid in a game. The mechanics are simple, but everything blends extremely well to deliver a one of a kind experience. My only little frustration with it is that I found myself a bit too easily being blocked out from an area that I had not finished exploring. It's not the end of the world because chapters can be replayed. 100% recommend
