Solid, almost essential. It's got a better campaign than the base game and introduces a lot of new customisation options. Not to mention that fort maps are objectively the best format for Worms matches. Sure, there's nothing to stop you from simply making forts in the editor, but these official forts would be impossible for any fan to create and they compliment various playstyles.
