Vambrace: Cold Soul is a narrative-driven game filled with memorable characters, brutal challenges, and deep strategy. I really like the concept of a more story-focused Darkest Dungeon type of game, and I think the devs did a good job on the story progression aspect. The main problem with the game is the actual combat itself. All the combat mechanics are so lackluster/boring compared to Darkest Dungeon to the point where I have no motivation go through it, every combat encounter just feels like a dull chore. Also, the UI is set up in such an inconvenient way to waste your time.
