Amazing rogue game. Really forces you to strategize and use your brain. Further in the game one mistake can cost your whole run. Music, and vibe are awesome. 10/10

I knew was going to buy this after about 30 seconds of demo, and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Great stuff. Definitely my favorite game of the year, and probably the last few years. Getting that last achievement is a pretty big grind, so I'm no longer playing this to the exclusion of other games, but I'll keep coming back and grinding away at it now and then.

As an avid roguelike player, it's hard for a new roguelike to really pull me in at this point, but shogun showdown really does scratch an itch for me. So fun to learn the best combos and how to efficiently deal with each encounter, seldom do my losses feel out of my control. 10/10, I'd recommend it twice if I could.

This game is perfect. The roguelike features are exactly balanced out so they don't feel unfair like in so many others. At the same time, they add novelty and fun to the gameplay. One run can feel good and interesting even if you don't make it very far. You can pause the game no problem and get back to it later, while the gameplay itself can be very fast if you want. On top of that, the graphics and music are also perfect. 10/10
