Ubisoft Connect is UNBEARABLE! Ubisoft please fix your mess. ALSO the original game had bugs but this is SOMEHOW worse.

While the game is great and I love it so far (first time AC player) I'm saying no due to Ubisoft's awful launcher. Usually, I don't care but with this game I received it from my purchase of AC Odyssey. The major issue is, this game WILL NOT activate in the Ubisoft launcher without first fully downloading Odyssey and launching it. Ubisoft Connect (or Ubisoft in general) gives zero information about this. Just beware of activation issues if you get this game through Odyssey.

This is essentially how NOT to do a remaster. Bugs present in the original game are still present, PLUS some new ones. Things like weird hitboxes for freerunning and enemies who seem to spot you instantly make this a very frustrating experience more than anything else. A lot of the problems are issues the original game had, but you would hope a remaster might touch up a few little things here and there. Not so here. Shameless cashgrab.

PERSONALLY liked Liberation better than base game. base game was fun and story was good but there was just something about Liberation i really liked, the voodoo bayou whole Nola vibe is soooo cool. and instead of hiding in bushes all game you literally change personas, Lady/Assassin/Slave to walk right under they noses and take these aholes out. i loved it.

This game has one of the best combat systems in the franchise and a great story but the parkour is not the best. The tree running is cool but most of the places don't have good parkour paths. Irate this 8/10
