This game is unfortunately a very bland and boring tactics rpg. Little to no customization on characters, no ability to hire units. No classes to change to. Combat often seems too difficult considering you either have to use potions to heal up or return to camp after every battle. The story is also less than desirable and I frequently find myself skipping the dialog.

A fun little RPG tactics game. Play on Normal (the hardest difficulty) and commit to completing all optional objectives during every mission for a good challenge. Worth it at $20 or less for fans of the genre. The only gripe I have is that I softlocked during combat several times after using a skill. The cast animation just stopped and the game would never continue on. Fortunately, restarting a battle is quick and not much progress was lost overall.

I didn't play long enough to write a detailed review. That's because I didn't enjoy any of what I played of it. I love Final Fantasy Tactics and it's spiritual successors, which is why I looked at this in the first place. I'd recommend giving this one a pass.

The story takes place in the world of Arton, world of the Brazilian tabletop RPG Tormenta. For those who know this world previously, in my case, I believe that the story is quite fun, although nothing innovative. The main negative point is the puzzles which are uninteresting and frustrating.
