charming game which is focused on combat while it may seem like basic sword and parrying there is enough around the combat that it doesnt get boring. You may find the humor to be a little campy which adds to the game ...

Game published 2023 on steam but it has 2010's gameplay and level design ,even in the end of one room (prob on chapter 4) they forget to put a way when after open door, when you opened the door empty room appears bro....

Excellent game focused around parry and platforming while in action. Haven't seen anything quite like it... maybe a mix of the combats of Sekiro and Furi.

En Garde! is a quick, fun game. The presentation and style brings me back to the PS2 games when there were more bright, lighthearted games. While relatively short, it's the perfect length for what it is. The combat does have some depth, but not so much that you're going to spend dozens of hours playing it. I had a lot of fun with it, especially at it's sale price. I'd love to see a bigger budget sequel with the platforming, combat, and character development expanded on.

You may find the humor to be a little campy which adds to the game with references to media like the mask of zorro its a fun game that doesnt take itself serious. it is short but you can do level arenas with a light roguelike element that can change the game up a little bit. En Garde!
