This is one of those "Just one more run before bed.." type games that will ruin your sleep pattern, beware! Great game though, highly recommend!

I had to drop Ascent to Zero. It falls into the exact same trap as every other game built on that modern Korean design philosophy: gorgeous to look at, absolutely hollow to play. Once you look past the insane particle effects and shiny character models, you realize there’s zero mechanical substance holding it together. It’s basically an interactive screensaver.

the game is really fun, all up to the canal and beyond. Boss' attacks become pretty much impossible to dodge and causes you to lose more time than you should, even on easy its difficult because of this and it doesn't help when at basically 0 weapon transparency and attacks impossible to read or predict and constantly getting hit by things you can even see, i just cant enjoy the game anymore

What a great fun video game and a very great way to use time as a construct in a video game, I don't get impressed easily by games these days too much the same but this is a very fun and interesting way to do it Let's hope it gets a sequel too bloody brilliant
