There's so, so much I love about this game but when it comes to difficulty balancing it smacks of junior designers not understanding that you need players to leave your game wanting more, and not leaving frustrated. If I get the sequel it won't be until it is heavily discounted.

Personal recommendation: Play on lowest difficulty. The balancing on this game is quite bad. Everything else, it was good. As a W40K fan, the story was the best part and of course the Astartes themselves. XCOM2 has more depth and engaging mechanics, but what's here is good enough as a XCOM-like game. 7.5/10 Get it on sale, or wait for the next instalment of this series (Chaos Gate - Deathwatch)

Took a little google search to understand stuff and piece it together but once i did i found myself looking forwards to the next time i load out my little team and go in to purge the enemys of the true emperor! Fantastic game. Do it and give it the time and space it deserves. Its a fun one :)
