The Hellenistic kingdoms of the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia take center stage in this Content Pack for Imperator: Rome. Heirs of Alexander add additional context and flavor to this rich and varied landscape, as the great conqueror’s former generals and their descendants try to claim the mantle of the ancient world’s most legendary ruler.

Nice mix of features for an affordable price. It also supports the continued development and gives us big free updates like 2.0 which came out alongside this expansion. So it's definitely worth it in my opinion.
I had gotten back into Imperator Rome. I was having a good time. I thought sure I'll buy the DLC I missed. And it sucks... Macedon is basically unplayable now because of a lot of random bullcrap events that slap you....

As a native of Halicarnassus & Ionia (the ancient names of my ancestral homeland), this DLC hits me quite differently; it brings to life the Hellenistic/Persian/Anatolian cultures with its treasures, ability to construct wonders that 'borrow' from different cultural influences, and more more general additions to the game. I'd highly recommend it for the variety, diversity and richness it brings to the game.

I like seeing mission trees, immersive events and similar content as part of DLCs and not dumb ass buttons locked behind a pay wall. Looking at you CK2, HOI4 and EU4. I don't wanna pay 20£ (or wahtever currency) for being able to press button and improve my tax in province by 0.1%. I wanna have these cool things, like unique missions with some interesting outcomes that make experience playing as certain nation feel unique.

I had gotten back into Imperator Rome. I was having a good time. I thought sure I'll buy the DLC I missed. And it sucks... Macedon is basically unplayable now because of a lot of random bullcrap events that slap you. I paid a lot of money for a mission tree for Macedon and it's basically lame as hell. Got me again paradox... thanks jerks.
