Description
From the BAFTA-Award winning studio behind Monument Valley and Assemble with Care comes something entirely new.
Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it.
This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather - who is a total bird nerd - by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that.
- Handcrafted visuals. Every little corner of the island has been looked after with great detail. Trust me, it took us a while to make it
- Join Alba and Ines to found the AIWRL (really rolls off the tongue doesn't it?), an organisation that can save the island
- You will need to gather a bunch of volunteers and the town is full of good people. Help them out and convince them to join you
- There are animals everywhere, can you find all the species?
What you can expect:
- Great music. We worked with Lorena Alvarez, to make a soundtrack that is equal parts Spain and Amazing
- This is a Chillectathon. Make your time on the island your own and experience the adventure at your own pace. No rush
- A place you want to stay. We based this on our childhood summers and, well, we wish we could go back. This island is the next best thing
- Honestly, a feel-good game about running around and doing good deeds

A cute game about protecting wildlife, has a nice message and a really beautiful art style, but I do feel like it's a bit too slow at times especially with the lack of a sprint button which even if it was not that fast I would've appreciated. It does get more entertaining as it progresses once you have access to more tools and I did enjoy myself.

Had an amazing time playing this game. The music and the art are very well polished and made, and I encountered no bugs while playing. The story is short but meaningful. Would have loved to see more gameplay, as the game is rather short, but an amazing experience nontheless.

A very enjoyable little experience, carefully crafted and polished, that can be played in a weekend and teaches to recognise some birds and how they sound.

Alba was a delight all around! It was incredibly fun running around and snapping photos of all the different animals, and I'm a big fan of the low-poly art style. Doing good feels good; I went out of my way to build bird boxes even if they weren't tied to a specific task. I also quite liked the writing, especially the newspaper headlines for rescuing wildlife and discovering rare animals! Alba is a game packed with charm, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a short, heartfelt time.

I had a lot of fun with this even if I don't see myself finishing it. You go around taking pictures of animals and do little puzzles to unlock more animals for more pictures. I did find it a bit tedious running around to figure out what I needed to do next, but that's a nitpick. Overall, I'd recommend it, at least on sale.
