This is the first time I'm playing the Remake/Enhanced version. I'd say it's worth the money over the classic freeware version as it feels nicer to play overall.

A game that will challenge your emotions and test your resolve more than anything I have ever played. Super high highs and abyssal lows can leave you feeling like a king or a worthless piece of ♥♥♥♥ after sessions. Runs are not super long but can be upwards of an hour if you decide to go for high scores. Movement is tight and responsive and the skill ceiling is enormous with how much mechanical aspects there are. Play this one and then play Spelunky 2 so there is hope we get a third

this game is so much fun! my favorite part has to be when an alien UFO crushes my pathetic fragile little body upon entering the level! also shoutout to Hungry Gary, Giant Enemy Spider (tuah spider), and Clarence! I have nothing but absolute hatred for them! :D

This is the first time I'm playing the Remake/Enhanced version. I'd say it's worth the money over the classic freeware version as it feels nicer to play overall.

Great game, a hard yet fun challenge in every level even if the game is RNG based its still a ton of fun. The way every level is randomly generated making every playthrough feel fresh and new while still keeping familiarity after playing for a while. The controls and everything feels nice to use and the soundtrack for this game is the best I've ever heard from most games I play.
