Too similar to the first game, in fact I find it easier to just start up a new save in the original game than to muster motivation to play this sequel. It lost the "magic" the first one had. There is more "grind" with less of the vibe that made the original so fun for me. Other reviews hit on this odd feeling, like it's missing something but hard to pin down what that is. I just defer to "it lost it's magic" and the original is still a blast to play

Slime Rancher 2 100% Achievement Review - This is such a beautiful game. I love how visually stunning this is, I remember I was in awe. The new slimes and items are very fun to find, and very refreshing. This was an incredibly fun time exploring and I had no idea how expansive it would be. I hope for more, I absolutely love it! Just like the first game, but even more!

An extremely high quality game. The terrain is beautiful and they made it so fun to explore in the gameplay loop, and I dont usually enjoy exploration in games. A great game to play in a relaxed manner, and I suggest relying on the in game slimepedia instead of looking anything up.
