Set out to forge a new pirate utopia and bring justice to the traitors who wronged you in this swashbuckling city builder with real-time naval combat! Develop a humble outpost into a sprawling settlement by investing in production buildings and amenities. Distribute valuable goods across a network of docks, depots, and warehouses, to address the needs of your citizens and increase their standing in pirate society. Recruit heroic captains and command a powerful fleet as you take to the waves in the name of conquest. Liberate islands, defeat rival factions, and navigate complex diplomatic relationships with the most influential national trading companies of the era.
Create a resource-based economy - Utilize 100+ unique buildings to provide the essential resources for growth. Supply citizens with goods, develop their proficiency, and unlock new tiers of industry.
Engage in real-time naval battles - Command a fleet to explore and conquer the archipelago. Engage in real-time strategic combat and switch to the tactical map to plan and execute your next raid.

This game is tons of fun. Until you realize there are a ton of ship components you cant craft. You just have to rely of the love of rngesus to find them. Also you are limited to a few ships at any one time. So after spending hour upon hour gathering materials to build your massive fleet of 8 whole ships you are finally ready to watch them sit and do nothing but watch as a single pirate comes and burns the whole island to the ground

Basically a cheap version of Anno focused around pirates ofc. Could be a good game but I think needs a lot of work on the production chains, UI, artwork, etc. before id be interested in playing for a longer period of time. Would also like to see a better storyline and more diversity in ships that you can build as well as more characters. As of now, I would just go play Anno 1800 if you want a game of this genre.

It's a cool little game, complicated where it should be and simplified where it should be. I foulnd it realitively easy to be on excellent terms with the three European powers and then ignoring their many requests to attack the ships of the others. I concentrated on sinking the ships of the other pirate powers instead. Every time I clicked on one of my ships the silly sailors sang a few bars from one of about half a dozen sea shanties. It truly is an absurd genre of music. 75/100
