There are plenty of ways to begin your Train Sim World 7 journey, whether you're completely new to the series or looking for the biggest collection of new content.

The Standard Edition includes all three new core routes: Airedale & Wharfedale Network, Bahnstrecke Nürnberg - Würzburg and Florida Tri-Rail.
Upgrade to Deluxe Edition to also receive the Northern BR Class 333, DB BR 412 ICE 4 and Tri-Rail GP49H-3, each bringing additional gameplay to their respective routes.
The Ultimate Edition includes everything from Deluxe alongside a selection of additional routes and locomotives from Train Sim World 6.

New to Train Sim World? The Free Starter Edition gives you access to the Training Center, where you can get familiar with steam, diesel and electric traction before heading out onto the wider railway.
You can also experiment with features such as Simple Controls, Free Roam and Livery Designer, giving you a place to learn the basics before deciding where you want your collection to go next.
From there, you can purchase compatible Train Sim World 7 routes and locomotives individually, or pick up compatible Add-ons from previous Train Sim World releases and start building the railway collection that interests you.
Returning players can also use the Free Starter Edition as their way into Train Sim World 7, downloading compatible content they already own and enjoying their favourite routes with the latest core game and features.

Train Sim World 7 introduces three completely new core routes, each bringing a very different type of railway experience.

Airedale & Wharfedale Network: Leeds & Bradford - Skipton & Ilkley
Head north and explore a 54-mile branching network across Yorkshire.
Take charge of modern Northern commuter services with the BR Class 331, stretch the legs of the LNER Class 801 Azuma or switch passenger duties for heavy aggregate traffic with the included Class 66 and HYA Limestone Hopper.
The network links Leeds and Bradford with Skipton and Ilkley, while Neville Hill Depot, Rylstone Quarry and freight-only branches bring even more variety to your working day.
Deluxe and Ultimate Edition players can also get behind the controls of the Northern BR Class 333, adding further services and scenarios across the network.

Bahnstrecke Nürnberg - Würzburg
Regional services, S-Bahn traffic, high-speed running and freight all come together across more than 100 km of German railway.
Take control of the new DB BR 440, operate S-Bahn services with the DB BR 442 Talent 2, head out on long-distance journeys aboard the ICE 1 or put the DB BR 193 Vectron to work on freight duties around Nürnberg Rbf and beyond.
Deluxe and Ultimate Edition players can also experience one of the most requested German trains to come to Train Sim World, the DB BR 412 ICE 4, complete with both 12 and 13-car variants.

Florida Tri-Rail: Miami Airport - Boca Raton
All aboard for the Sunshine State!
Train Sim World heads to South Florida for the first time, with more than 45 miles of railway stretching from Miami Airport through Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton.
Take charge of colourful Tri-Rail commuter services with the BL36PH and F40PH-3C, complete with Rotem double-deck equipment, before swapping passengers for freight with the included CSX SD40-2 and GP38-2.
Deluxe and Ultimate Edition players can add another piece of Tri-Rail history with the GP49H-3, bringing an additional locomotive and more gameplay to the route.

New Ways to Play in Train Sim World 7
Alongside three new routes, Train Sim World 7 brings a range of new features, graphical improvements and quality-of-life updates.
Beginner Controls
Want to get moving without learning every cab control first?
Simple Controls offer a streamlined way to drive using straightforward Power and Brake controls, making it easier for new players to get behind the controls while leaving the full simulation experience available for those who want it.
Please note that Simple Controls are not available in Scenarios or Tutorials, where the standard control setup is used.

Freight Hauler
Take freight into your own hands with the brand-new Freight Hauler mode.
Freight cars are distributed around the route waiting to reach their destinations. Choose your locomotive, inspect what needs moving, set your own path and complete the job your way before receiving a score at the end of your session.

Live and Dynamic Weather
Live Weather allows supported services to use current real-world weather conditions for the location you're driving through when connected to Dovetail Live.
We've also overhauled Dynamic Weather, improving the variety of conditions and the transitions between them.

Enhanced Lighting and Epic PC Settings
Train Sim World 7 introduces Enhanced Lighting, bringing new depth and atmosphere to environments across the game.
High-end PC players can take things even further with the new Epic graphical settings, extending draw distances, improving shadows and increasing Level of Detail ranges.
Train Sim World 7 also introduces native DirectX 12 support alongside additional upscaling options for compatible PC hardware.

Quality-of-Life Improvements
We've made improvements throughout Train Sim World 7 to make getting into and enjoying your journeys easier.
These include faster loading times, adjustable Field of View, improved Temporary Speed Restrictions, configurable default Safety Systems, AI Conductor, faster external cameras, controller improvements, Steam Deck support, Steam Cloud Saving and a refreshed menu interface.
Early Access Hotfixes
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us during Early Access.
We've loved seeing your first journeys, screenshots, videos and feedback over the last few days, and that feedback has also helped our teams identify issues ahead of today's wider launch.
The following fixes have already been implemented into Train Sim World 7:
Resolved an issue where AI Conductor was causing a crash with the BR 440, FP40PH-3, and GP49 locos when stopping at a station.
Fixed an issue where AI Conductor was causing a crash when set to 'Realistic' in the RE10 (58205) service on Nürnberg to Würzburg.
Fixed an issue where AI Conductor set to ‘Realistic’ was managing door operation on the BR 442 Talent 2 where it shouldn’t.

Train Sim World 7 Day One Update
Alongside today's full release, we're rolling out our Train Sim World 7 Day One Update, bringing further fixes and improvements following testing and feedback from Early Access.
Please see the full list of updates here but some highlights are:
Improved the transition smoothing between weather changes with Live Weather
Fixed an issue to live weather not applying after loading a save
Added a pop-up when trying to use Beginner Controls on scenarios and tutorials
Added missing magnets at Würzburg Hbf
ICE 4 improvements to the AFB which was causing issues when going downhill
Fixed an issue where AI conductors would operate train doors incorrectly when in realistic mode for the BR 442
Adjusted and increased the running sounds for Class 331 when moving between 85-100mph internally and externally
Fixed an issue where the Class 333 brakes would not always apply correctly
Reworked the lighting throughout Miami Airport
We'll continue monitoring your feedback following launch, with further updates planned as we continue to improve the Train Sim World 7 experience.

Next Stop: Japan!
Train Sim World 7 might be launching today, but your next journey isn't far away.
On September 29th, Train Sim World heads to Japan for the very first time with Tadami Line: Aizu-Wakamatsu - Tadami, developed by Union Workshop.
Stretching for 88 km through the mountains and valleys of Fukushima Prefecture, this rural single-track railway calls at 28 stations as it follows the Tadami River through the beautiful Oku Aizu region.
Take control of the classic KiHa 40, learn Japanese railway operations and experience Train Sim World's first narrow-gauge Japanese route across changing seasons and spectacular scenery.
