A Railway Through Time
The Tadami Line dates back to 1928, when the first section opened between Aizu-Wakamatsu and Aizu-Yanaizu as part of the Aizu Railway.
Over the following decades, the railway gradually followed the Tadami River deeper into the mountains, reaching Aizu-Kawaguchi in 1956 and Tadami in 1963.
In Train Sim World 6, the route is set before the devastating rainfall of 2011, which damaged the railway and suspended services beyond Aizu-Kawaguchi for more than a decade. This setting allows players to experience the complete railway from Aizu-Wakamatsu to Tadami.
