World Update 21: Australia is out — the first Australia update for Microsoft Flight Simulator since 2021. Working with Bing Maps, Vexcel, Gaya and Asobo, the team recreated 40 points of interest with refreshed photogrammetry across all six states and two territories: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Darwin, the Gold Coast, Tasmania and more.
Included are six hand-crafted airports from studio Gaya, among them Broome, Coober Pedy, RAAF Base Tindal and Lord Howe Island Airport, plus dozens of points of interest: parks, dams, lighthouses and observatories.
The update adds missions for MSFS 2024 and MSFS (2020): discovery flights over Canberra and the Whitsunday Islands, precision landings in the Boeing 737 and F/A-18, low-altitude challenges and rally races by the Three Sisters and the Twelve Apostles. The update is free for all owners.
